Save the date for the 37th Annual Lighting of the Washington Monument on Thursday, December 4th.

There will be local entertainers, food, and a dazzling fireworks display. The holiday village featuring food and crafts vendors will open in Mount Vernon’s West Park at 5:30 p.m.

The entertainment on stage will begin at 6 p.m. and the Monument Lighting and fireworks display will occur shortly before 7:30 p.m. (Times subject to change).

The annual Monument Lighting is produced by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, the Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts, and the Baltimore Department of Recreation and Parks.
