Steele Takes Campaign To Cyberspace

POSTED: 10:08 am EDT June 13, 2006
UPDATED: 9:38 am EDT June 14, 2006

Lt. Gov. Michael Steele's Senate campaign will ramp up this week in cyberspace with a 90-second Web-based ad.

In the video, Steele tries to stake out ground as an outsider. He condemns the political scandals in Washington and suggests he'll be a Senator willing to criticize both parties.

Steele also proposes to ban all gifts to members of Congress and proposes that former members be barred for four years from becoming lobbyists.

The ad will be viewable at the Steele campaign Web site and will be e-mailed to supporters.
