CENTREVILLE, Md. -- State officials are warning Centreville residents to boil their drinking water this week.
Maryland Department of the Environment officials recently issued the warning because of a drop in pressure in the town's water system. They said the water pressure dropped during routine maintenance, but they're unsure about what caused the problem.Officials told 11 News that the water is safe for washing and bathing, but should be boiled for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
