COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A male deer charged through an east Columbus home on Monday night, hospitalizing the homeowner.The homeowner, Alfred Tibor, was in stable condition, NBC 4 reported.
SLIDESHOW: Images From Scene At about 5:20 p.m., police received a call from a cab driver who was flagged down by a woman from inside the Tibor home. She said a male deer crashed through the home's window."It was jumping through windows, trying to get through windows," said Columbus police Lt. Michael Deakins. "It couldn't get through. It ran from room to room, basically tearing up the room. There was a male, I believe the owner of the house. He was injured, had puncture wounds throughout the body, while trying to get the deer out of the house."A police sergeant shot and killed the deer in the home's bathroom, NBC 4 reported.Tibor is a Holocaust survivor whose powerful sculptures have brought him international acclaim.Watch NBC 4 and refresh nbc4i.com for additional information.
