Students Collect Over 361,000 Pounds Of Food

Maryland School Students Collect Food For The Hungry

Students from across Maryland were honored Friday for collecting thousands of pounds of food for the Harvest For The Hungry campaign.

This year, 348 schools participated. Among them includes Crofton Middle School, which took home first prize. Students there raised 26 pounds of food per student.

The participating schools collected over 361,000 pounds of food for the Maryland Food Bank.
