Schools Releasing Students, Activities Restricted

Schools throughout the area are beginning to release students to go home following the shootings in Montgomery County.No schools are letting out early, but principals are being instructed to be cautious and aware as students are leaving the school. Montgomery County police were scheduled to be at those schools as people were being released.Outdoor and after-school activities are being curtailed in some counties.
The evening activities scheduled as follows:
- Montgomery County: all afternoon and evening activities, including sporting events, have been cancelled
- Baltimore County: all outdoor activities have been cancelled, but parent/teacher conferences will go ahead as scheduled
- Baltimore City: all afternoon and evening activities, including sporting events, have been cancelled
- Howard County: all athletic activities and outdoor events have been cancelled
- Carroll County: normal schedule (no cancellations)
- Anne Arundel County: normal schedule (no cancellations)
- Harford County: normal schedule (no cancellations)
- Prince George's County: normal schedule (no cancellations)
- Frederick County: normal schedule (no cancellations)
