Study Links Birth Weight To Adult Obesity

New research from India suggests a link between higher birth weight and leaner adults.The researchers believe babies who had a high birth weight were more likely to be lean as adults than those babies who were underweight at birth. However, the weight shouldn't stay on for long.Researchers said weight gain in late childhood and adolescence could lead to obesity in adulthood.
This study was recently published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
